Welcome To MUC Children's Academy
An Islamic Child Care & Montessori Program
MUC Children’s Academy is a licensed childcare center with programs that give quality care and education throughout the year for children ages six weeks to twelve years. In our program, we offer children an Islamic way of life. Our goal is to raise awareness of Islamic identity and increase their self-esteem. We provide our children with a safe, healthy, & clean environment; and implement a high level of education that builds a child’s foundation and lasts a lifetime. During the course of the day, children are encouraged to engage in hands-on group projects as well as individualized learning activities.
To enhance religious knowledge, MUC Children’s Academy has structured timings in which our students collectively visit the prayer hall with their teachers. Students learn the importance of establishing the physical act of prayer, as well as practicing “mindfulness” (a calm mental state of awareness) in removing their shoes, sitting on the carpet, and taking a step back from the classroom environment.
Children are the heart of our society,
We are looking for a bright future so let us take great care of our present, the children.
Infants & Toddlers:
(Age) 6 Weeks - 32 Months
This program is based on Jean Piaget Theory in child development. Our program provides hands-on activities which focuses on the child’s language skills, social skills, self-help skills, and provides each child with the foundation for a positive self-image. Our early childhood development professionals are well trained on implementing positive discipline techniques and incorporate structured and unstructured activities. Here, in the MUCCA Infants & Toddler Program children are free to explore with all of their senses to fully understand the world around them. Teachers focus on each child individually and strive to maximize each child’s potential by customizing the delivery and speed of the curriculum. We always use developmentally appropriate learning methods to reach our goals.

Pre-Primary:
(Age) 33 Months - 4 Years
This program is based on Dr. Maria Montessori Philosophy. We implement these educational strategies within an Islamic environment in order to provide an optimal environment for your child’s development. In our pre-primary classroom, children are able to develop social connections with both peers and teachers. Our youngest students are nurtured as they gain independence in every area of the classroom. Through encouraging activities and conversation modeling, pre-primary children develop speech and interpersonal bonds. The classroom materials in the pre-primary classroom are designed to meet the needs of children operating at various stages of development in our mixed-age classroom.
