Mission Statement

The mission of the Muslim Unity Center Interfaith Committee is to build long-lasting relationships with our communities whether they be congregations, educational institutions, organizations, or individuals.

We aim to build bridges in order to share knowledge, foster understanding and serve the community–with common respect among all of us as fellow Americans.

Despite negative perceptions or rhetoric against Islam, we know that real trust and goodwill come from individual interaction within communities.   With that in mind, we continually aim to engage with our neighbors (community, congregations, institutions, organizations, and individuals) to learn from each other, to support one another, to partner in serving the community at large, and to maintain an honest dialogue with each other.
